On afternoon 13/07/2013, the 10th international women’s volleyball tournament VTV CUP 2013 has officially opened at Ninh Binh’s sports center. Attending the opening ceremony had Mr. Bui Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Ninh Binh provincial party committee secretary, the leaders of the province, head of departments, district, town and city; Mr. Pham Viet Tien Deputy General Director of the Vietnam television; Mr. Lai Van Sam journalist, head of department for sport and economic information, Vietnam television and fans in and outside the province.
To attend the 10th international women’s volleyball tournament VTV Cup 2013 there are 6 teams: Thailand, Australia, Kazakhstan, Shandong (Shandong, China), Jiangsu (Jiangsu, China) and Vietnam. The teams will compete under the scoring round, pick out 4 teams with high achievements for the semi-finals along with a bronze medal match and the final.
With the desire to create a playground the volleyball team in Vietnam and Vietnam Women’s Volleyball, Vietnam television has collaborated with Vietnamese volleyball Federation held the international women’s Volleyball Tournament VTV Cup in 6 provinces and cities and has won many of the sentiment of the fans.
The 10th international women’s volleyball tournament VTV Cup held in Ninh Binh is a chance to promote, introduce potential strong socio-economic, other tourist attraction and the historic culture of Ninh Binh province to the domestic and international friends. By mean of contribute to promote sport development, especially the volleyball, is the occasion for the athletes and spectators in Ninh Binh are witnessing the professional volleyball matches of the countries in the region and international.
